Blends can be easy or hard, depending on what images you use to make the blend.
I'm going to be using these three images: If it is needed, re-size the images you will be using to make your blends. Make sure you know what will be the size of your canvas! Mine is 420x400.
With your images opened, paste them one by one into your canvas and arrange them in any way you wish. It's okay
if they overlap each other, because that is where we will be blending!
Now, take your Lasso Tool (it should be default in the Lasso options, and if it isn't change it)
Make sure your Feather is set toa certain amount! I like 15px best. Anti-Aliased should also be checked off.
With the Lasso tool, make an organic shape in one of the areas you want to blend. Appropriate layer should be selected!
Once you have your selection, press Delete on your keyboard. This is the first part of my blend:
Do the steps above for the rest of your images until you have a blend.
Remember, the image that is overlapping is the one where you make the selection and delete. If you dislike a part
of it or you want to adjust one of your blended images, move it down a bit.
This is pretty much it! If you're using PNGs to blend, make sure you have some sort of background beneath them
so it doesn't look so empty. |
