• Know your topic. If you're going to write a tutorial, make sure it's something that you know well and fully understand. You don't want to confuse the readers with something even you don't fully comprehend!
• Good grammar. Make sure that you use good grammar. The last thing a person wants to do is figuring out what you just said and scratching their heads over it.
• Lots of pictures. When writing a tutorial, have pictures for each step so the audience knows if they are on the right track.
• Bolded things. Have certain parts of the tutorial have bolded, italics, or underlined text. This way the audience can see what parts are the most important in your tutorial.
• Clear things. Make sure the things you say are pretty clear to your readers. If it's something that can't be done easily, take the time to explain it more than you would something easy.
• Options. If a certain step doesn't have to be done exactly the same as in yours, say it. You want your audience to know that they have options for certain things.
• Be creative! The last and final thing you should have in your tutorial is creativity. Your tutorial will soon be popular if you have it on something different than everyone else, but not too hard!
