Website Basics: Part 1

1. Time:
   Time is one of the most important factors in building a website, because what good is having one if you never have time to update it? It is not recommended to start a website if you are a very busy person since it would be hard to squeeze it into your busy schedule. Another reason why time is so important is because it is of the essence. It takes more than just ten minutes to add something worthwile (in most cases) so you should be prepared.
2. Content:
   Do you know what your website is going to be about? There is a big difference between an anime graphics website and a site that tries to save animals. Content is also very important, because your visitors will get bored easily if you have little or no content. In most cases, it is better to have more than less, but sometimes that can cause trouble if something goes wrong on a large chunk of it. Quality over quantity is a famous saying amongst anyone, and it doesn't have to be website-related either. This is true for a lot of reasons. Anyone would rather see a website that does not have a lot of graphics, but it still being beautiful than a site with a lot of things that looked like they were slapped together in a few moments.
3. Basic knoweledge:
   It is always good to know at least some HTML, because you cannot always rely on page bulders to make your websites and web pages for you. There are a lot of websites (like ours) that provide the basic coding and "spiffy" codes to make your site look more better than it already is. Another reason why knowing the basics is a big deal is because if you don't you might as well be a foreigner in a totally different country from yours, and you don't know how to speak the language either!
